Scope of Work:
The Program Associate will play a vital role in supporting the Women and Youth Program by assisting in planning, coordination, follow-ups, and preparation of strategic documents and presentations. This includes regular day-to-day support in project implementation, documentation, report preparation, monitoring and supporting decision-making processes through organized and accurate information. He/She will provide continuous technical and research support to the Women and Youth Program Unit by contributing to concept notes, project proposals, process and learning document, background papers, briefing notes, and other analytical documents. H/She will provide support in organizing day observance events, skills training and community engagement sessions. This position will support in developing communication and visibility material which include case story, learning document, videos and other communication tools as needed by the program. H/She will provide support in conducting desk research on gender, youth, women’s leadership, digital safety, climate justice, and related thematic areas to inform program design, advocacy, and donor engagement. The role supports evidence-based programming by synthesizing data, aligning content with organizational priorities, and ensuring contextual relevance within Bangladesh.

Responsibility # 1: Documentation, Translation and Knowledge Management Support with high-quality programme implementation by producing, translating, organizing, and maintaining programme documentation and knowledge products.

- Contextualize global and regional programme materials for the Bangladesh context.
- Translate programme documents, reports, training materials, and communication products between Bangla and English.
- Maintain an organized documentation and filing system.
- Prepare meeting minutes, decision logs, reports, case studies, and other knowledge products.
- Conduct desk reviews and compile information to support programme learning and reporting.

Responsibility # 2: Programme Coordination and Operational Support to facilitate efficient programme implementation and collaboration.

- Coordinate documentation requirements across programme teams.
- Ensure programme documents comply with organizational and donor standards.
- Support meetings, workshops, and events through logistical and administrative assistance.
- Provide interpretation support during meetings with partners, donors, consultants, and other stakeholders when required.
- Maintain confidentiality and proper handling of programme information.

Responsibility # 3: Communication and Information Management Support internal and external communication by developing clear, consistent, and high-quality communication materials.

- Qualification:
|
- Bachelor’s degree in development studies, Social Sciences, English, Communications, Public Administration, Business Administration, Marketing or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience. Master’s degree will be preferred.
- Minimum two years of relevant professional experience in programme support, documentation, communications, knowledge management, or translation within the development or humanitarian sector.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Bangla and English.
- Experience preparing reports, meeting minutes, knowledge products, and communication materials.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience supporting donor-funded programmes.
- Experience with translation and interpretation.
- Familiarity with digital document management systems.
- Experience supporting communication programme and event documentation.
- Knowledge of gender equality and women's empowerment programming.

Compensation
