Scope of Work:
The Senior Capacity Building Officer will lead skills training design and delivery, ensuring that programs are demand-driven, inclusive, and climate-smart. The role strengthens training providers, supports employers in co-designing curricula, and ensures quality assurance across interventions.

II. Responsibilities and Tasks:

Responsibility # 1: Curriculum & Training Design:

|
- Design green, inclusive, and labor-market aligned training modules. Ensure relevancy with employability of youth.
- Incorporate soft skills, digital literacy, and resilience into curricula. Prepare youth for modern workplaces through delivery of integrated skills.
- Validate training content with multiple stakeholders including employers to maintain industry standards and credibility.
- Pilot and refine modules based on feedback from youth and trainers. Ensure continuous improvement through iterative design.

Responsibility # 2: Trainer & Service Provider Capacity Building:
|

- Supervise facilitation of ToT sessions for trainers in classrooms, industry, and informal settings.
- Mentor training providers on gender-responsive and inclusive pedagogy. Ensure inclusivity for improving learning outcomes.
- Provide coaching on governance and quality systems to training centers.
- Evaluate trainer performance and provide structured feedback. Design and implement a continuous assessment system for driving improvement.

Responsibility # 3: Employer Engagement:
|

- Organize consultations with private sector partners to identify skill gaps and align training modules with labor market demand.
- Co-develop curricula with employers to ensure relevance. Ensure increased job placement rates through this collaboration.
- Engage employers in joint supervision of training delivery. Ensure shared accountability to enhance outcomes.
- Encourage employers to create inclusive recruitment practices. Support them in shifting policies to increase diversity in hiring.

Responsibility # 4: Quality Assurance & Knowledge Sharing:

- Monitor training sessions for quality assurance. Design a consistent oversight to ensure industry standard.
- Document best practices and disseminate them to partners. Develop a shared learning system that can drive replication.
- Provide technical backstopping to trainers and facilitators for ensuring quality and on-time delivery.
- Facilitate knowledge-sharing events across providers and partners. Ensure these networking accelerates innovation.

General Responsibilities on Safety and Security, and Safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults

- Qualification:
|
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Vocational Training, Human Resource Development, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in TVET or skills development programming.
- Certification in instructional design, TVET curriculum development, or green skills.
- Demonstrated experience in ToT, curriculum design, and institutional capacity building.
- Familiarity with gender-responsive and inclusive training approaches.
- Prior experience working with private sector employers to co-develop training programs.
- Experience in climate-smart or green livelihoods training.

Compensation
Monthly consolidated salary: BDT. 1,05,000.00
